The Hercules Community Library Foundation is dedicated to Supporting our Library!

Every day, the library helps people change their lives. You can help ensure the success of these efforts by supporting the Hercules Public Library through the Hercules Library Foundation. By giving to the Foundation, you too can invest in your library and by doing so, invest in your community.

Our Community Living Room! 

Hercules Public Library is a state-of-the-art facility built collaboratively by the City of Hercules, the State of California, and Contra Costa County. In addition, civic organizations and individuals provided substantial donations to support its construction. Like a phoenix rising, the dreams and a lot of hard work became a reality in November 2006.

SHARES - Donate to the Library at no cost to You!

If you shop at Lucky, Save Mart, or Food Maxx, please take part in their SHARES Card Program. Pick up a SHARES card at the library and present it to the clerk when you check out. The Hercules Community Library Foundation will receive a quarterly check based on a percentage of your qualified purchases. There is no cost to you to participate. If you have a Lucky Reward Card, you can still take part in this fundraiser. Since only one card can be used per transaction, consider using your SHARES card once or twice a month and the Reward Card for the rest of your visits. Every time you use your SHARES card, the library benefits.
